 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Lead creative for Daniel Arsham in collaboration with the LVMH German-luggage company, RIMOWA, culminating in the release of a 500-piece edition of eroded RIMOWA case housed within a modern RIMOWA attache case. Designed collaborative lock-up, complete packaging, product design + accessories, &#38;amp; marketing assets along with Arsham and the in-house creative team at RIMOWA, blending the rich heritage of RIMOWA with the futuristic aesthetic of Arsham.

 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; For Kim Jones’ DIOR Men’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, the French house partnered with Daniel Arsham to inspire the set design and collection.&#38;nbsp; From the runway show to the individual garments, Arsham’s dystopian, eroded future aesthetic bled through all facets of the collection.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Working with DIOR’s team, along with Villa Eugenie on the set design, I lead creative between Arsham and the respective teams on all aspects of the collection - from the set design to the garments to the invites.&#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp;

 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; Keeping in line with Arsham’s concepts of time-travel and past, present and future, DIOR brought back the iconic newsprint pattern and updated it for SS20, imagining this Galliano-era pattern in the year 3020, complete with eroded drawings by Arsham.&#38;nbsp; The pattern I made was then applied to B23 sneakers, saddle bags, knit scarves and more.&#38;nbsp;

Arsham x DIOR SS20 Newsprint.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Inspired by several visits to the extensive DIOR archives in Paris, the invite to the show was intended to reference Christian Dior’s autobiography, Je Suis Couturier, yet updating the design for the year 3020. The accompanying sculpture was then applied to several garments throughout the collection, turning into an icon for the collaboration.

Invitation pochette &#38;amp; embossed invitation card design.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Alongside the collection, Arsham and DIOR worked on several sculptural editions - blending iconic pieces from Christian Dior’s life with Arsham’s own artistic style.&#38;nbsp; Each piece was housed in a collapsible art-handling crate dressed in a repeating monochromatic DIOR oblique patter with bespoke art-handling gloves and a custom pink gradient hourglass.&#38;nbsp;

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; In 2019, Arsham collaborated with famed German sportscar manufacturer Porsche on the upcoming 2020 Porsche 911 (992).&#38;nbsp; Using the first 992 to be imported to the United States, Arsham created an eroded sculpture out of the car, mixing geological materials with the body of the car.&#38;nbsp; Though the car appear eroded, all function was kept as is and the car ran fine. Alongside the custom matte white eroded exterior, the interior featured a dual-color upholstery using heavyweight stone washed canvas.&#38;nbsp;

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; After the 992’s tenure at Selfridges Corner Store in London, the car continued on a World Tour.&#38;nbsp; From Shanghai to Stuttgart, the 992 became an icon of the worlds of art and racing touring around the world, finally becoming a part of the Porsche Museum’s collection in 2019.&#38;nbsp;

Collaborative lock-ups &#38;amp; test
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; As a roll out for the collaborative project, Arsham invited friends and family out to the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles to debut the car and ignite the relationship between the New York artist and the german sports car brand.&#38;nbsp; As a gift, the attendees were given a VIP “mechanic’s” jacket, featuring a terrycloth Porsche x Arsham badge on the back and their names on the front.&#38;nbsp;

 In collaboration with Pokemon and UNIQLO UT, Arsham used the iconic Japanese characters as inspiration for an exhibition at Nanzuka Gallery in Tokyo alongside a global release of product with UNIQLO UT.&#38;nbsp; The capsule collection was sold at UNIQLO stores globally to great excitement. To announce the collaboration, we worked with the original Pokemon animation team to create a 30 second teaser, blending the original animation style of the 90’s television show with Arsham’s own eroded sculptures.&#38;nbsp;

Heinz x Daniel Arsham
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; In collaboration with Heinz, Arsham reworked the iconic red soup to his own monochromatic aero-green and white palette. In the vein of Warhol and other pop-artists of the past, Arsham paralleled this tradition and created his own version of the recognizable canned good. Readymade x Daniel Arsham&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; In collaboration with Japanese brand, Readymade, Arsham reimagined a series of Jeanneret Lounge chairs and sofa originally created for Corbusier’s Chandigarh. In the military-inspired style of Readymade, the furniture pieces were reupholstered using vintage WWII American military fabrics left in Japan after the culmination of the war. The waxed heavyweight cotton chairs were available for sale during the run of Selfridges - doubling as set pieces and ready-for-sale works.&#38;nbsp;

adidas x Arsham Futurecraft 4D
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Beginning in 2017, Arsham worked with adidas on a series of three shoes, aptly titled Past, Present and Future.&#38;nbsp; These three sneakers looked to the history of adidas, the present moment and the future of sneaker design in the monochromatic, paired down manner typically found in Arsham’s work.&#38;nbsp; The final sneaker debuting in 2018, the adidas x Arsham Futurecraft 4D featured a 3D printed outsole - a revolutionary technology in the world of footwear - all in a tonal aerogreen colorway with a UV printed overlay.&#38;nbsp; The sneaker came housed in die-cut foam complete with matching socks and art-handling gloves - elevating the unboxing experience to that of fine art.&#38;nbsp;

Packaging design + schematics&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; For the release of the Arsham Futurecraft 4D,&#38;nbsp; adidas and Arsham took over New York City’s Metrograph Theater to debut the sneaker and the accompanying film.&#38;nbsp; The theater was transformed exclusively for the event into an all adidas and Arsham space - with custom concessions goods and photo ops.&#38;nbsp; From Arsham Pocari Sweat and Pocky Sticks to Arsham Milk Bar Cookies and chocolate cast sneakers, no stone was left unturned in branding the event.
